  SM400

Spectral Monitoring Measurement System.

The PE.fiberoptics SM400 system is designed to monitor the spectral loss changes in fibers or components for environmental testing and susceptibility evaluations. This system uses LED's for broad wavelength coverage, coupled with a solid state monochromator to allow spectral features to be detected with high spectral resolution.
By adding the CD 416 multiplexer option, the SM 400 is transformed into a multi-channel spectral loss system with high speed and full spectral coverage. In addition, long-term stability is improved by using one multiplexer channel as a system drift stabilization channel (reference channel). The CD 416 multiplexer is available with up to 32 channels fitted internally, or for higher channel counts an external multiplexer/ switch with up to 198 channels is also available.
